My New Clock For The Garage

So the other half was throwing out a clock and I dont want to keep getting my phone dirty when I'm down the garage so I decided to take the mechanism out it and make a clock.
The spark plugs are welded on and I gave it a quick brush up with a wire wheel on the grinder.
What do yous think ?

Coat of clear laquer would probably be a good idea - unless you've oiled it and plan to keep doing so to prevent surface rust?

Yeah I think I might give it a quick once over with clear laquer tomorrow if I get a chance

Only used them a couple of times for plates really mate

Never even thought about making some to sell lol I've only got 1 other clutch plate spare

Use anything else, flywheels, friction plates,wheel trims, circular saw blades, anything round

Old brass pressure gauges make nice looking clocks
I have a mintex brake disc clock at work
