Go on then I'm intrigued as to how you get that effect when spraying the black over the orange? Thinking maybe partially masked with scrunched up tape or something along those lines.

Cool effect, did you spray black over the orange then wrap it in cling film, pull it off again and lacquer it?

When i have done this effect i use scrunched up plastic bags

Kept back for finest tig now then, shame to get it dirty after all that work!

So you did a base of primer, then an orange coat. Then sprayed it black and while wet dabbed the helmet with scrunched up plastic bags. Let it dry and then a few lacquer coats?
