Mig welded from 3/8" sq tube cut from hundreds of parts. Rolled in a converted Tennsmith slip roll. He ordered 3 of them but i only have one up until after the first of the year. Made for the Lionel sized trains which he has a bunch of expensive ones...Bob

Quite agree. As a newbie, on the few projects I've completed to date some of the welds are ground out (the ugly ones) but I've left the pretty ones for all to see. At least the family seem to think I'm a 'master of the art'!

I just bumped the tops of the welds with a sander disc. The tubing is pretty thick 1/16" so i can get some pentration. Here is a pic that was in the local newspaper...Bob
