My first welders!

Hopefully found a bargain today and picked up two SIP welders for a grand total of £60, an MMA and a gasless mig along with some rods and a hammer that is almost definitely older than i am.

I assume someone here has used either or both of them at some point, are they any good?

Going to be raiding the scrap skip at work on Monday and making a mess.

Welcome to the forum.
Plenty of info on modifying the SIP MIG so it is more stable.

Your buzz box won't disappoint as long as you don't want to weld 6mm plate in a single pass. It might struggle with 3.2 but will run 2mm and 2.5mm rods ok.

Never done MMA before and only ever done MiG with gas, so it will inevitably be a mess at first but looking forward to it
