My first project: 2CV's damper mounting

This is my first job repairing my 2CV's chassis and I´m quite proud of it.

Good start Mec. but in photograph 2 the metal plate you have used seems to be thinner than the original,Hope it will still be OK.

No, both are 2 mm steel.

because its your first go back and check it after a good test drive then in a few days, and then keep an eye on as you use the vehicle to make sure it stays safe.
