My first little task for my new welder.

Thought id share what ive been upto with my new welder. I bought a R-tech 160 TIG welder a couple of months ago, as i currenlty building a new rally car. The welder was bought mainly to install my rollcage and general fabrication on the car. As i havent got any gas for it yet, i thought id test it by using the arc feature. So i decided to knock together this to help me with my build. Theres one at the front as well and it will rotate 360, if i shut the garage door

Certainly does, only cost me £60 for the steel and managed to pinch the castors and bearings of my dad! so was a nice low budget tool! dont come across many of thm these days! Allready had it up on the side to start removing underseal, which was a piece of pee! No laying on my back and getting it in the eyes!

Looks well. How did you lock it at 90 degrees ???

Cheers, ratchet straps to beams in the garage, so no chance of it going anywhere, may make some plates up, with some pins though if i find some cheap plate somewhere.
