just started making some templates for inner wing....not sure if i like the shape yet....welding these in is going to be an ass........

What was wrong with the originals ? and there shape

To be honest..they were ok..but they came from factory with so many holes and angles..and i had to box the rails so was easier to fab new ones.....

Are some of the angles for strengthening?

the original ford ones are reasonable in strength..just very messy in there appearance....the new ones will be a lot stronger and will look a lot better...

its a typical unibody construction..plate over plate...i am adding strength to the mail rails as a 750 bhp big block puts a serious amount of stress on chassis....the new inner wings are just to make it look a lot cleaner in the engine bay....the mail rails at the front will take the roll bars back to mail cage..and the engine will be motor plate mounted so need as much strength as possible..
