Greetings,
I have a tradsestig 180 that has just started playing up.
Was building up a stainless shaft on DC when it lost power and stopped welding.
Had the top off it and the side but can't see anything obvious.
HF is working in both AC and DC but in DC it doesn't stop after a few seconds as it should but keeps on.
AC side seems to be working fine, tried some alloy and it was OK.
Here's the manual, quick look at this says to me either the big AC/DC switch or rectifier ?
Next question is who carries spares ?
Whilst doing test runs I tried doing stainless on AC and to my eye it looked the same as DC.
Can the experts comment on this as most of my work is non critical building up of worn surfaces.
Many thanks.
John S.
