have broken RV2 switch/potentiometer (aka spot on/off Time) switch, was wondering if anyone knows what the resistance Value of it is and or if they know where I might get hold of a replacement?
There are two sets of numbers on the case, P7611 and M47A, I measured the resistance of the track and its 500K, just managed to purchase a switched 470K Lin potentiometer locally so Im going to use that and see how I get on, appreciate your input
The 470K did the trick no noticeable difference in the timing which is good,
The biggest smile reserved for the fact the Potentiometer/switch only cost me £2.45 from my local electronics supplier which is slightly cheaper that the £14 my Murex dealer wanted to charge for the same item
Many thanks for all the input folks... glad I found this forum as im fairly new to welding its great to have a wealth of experience and answers to browse through when my brain lets me down which I suspect is due to me beating the flames out too hard when my hair catches fire... yes I know I must wear a cap
