I hoped you would reply.
Worked, just about, with original torch but was too bad to continue and there are no replacements parts.
I bought an expensive pilot arc torch which I thought would be the right torch.
Fitted it up. It won't maintain a pilot arc, just keeps firing in rapid splutters for a while and then cuts out as it should, when not actually cutting. The pilot arc is very fierce and I think it may be on full power and not pilot.
voltage. Will not cutany sense when offered to work piece.
Its very portable and I would very much like to bring it to you to look at. For a fee of course. No favours looked for.

Can't really help with your new torch.
As for your old torch, the heat shield shroud looks like the one's available at
http://www.weldmet.co.uk/shop/productinfo/7502
triple/quadruple check the continuity of the two shroud to torch contacts and through the torch body itself. An intermittent fault/break/high resistance, say, due to loose shroud, will kill the arc, it's a fair bet that there will be a time delay in that circuit before it will re initialise

Hi. Thanks for coming to my aid.
The only reason for getting this torch was that it was the only one with similar looking connections to the unit.
Two for the switch , one air and feed, and an earth return for what I think is HF pilot arc.
But , you know what they say- A little knowledge, etc.
As you can see from the picture, all I had to go on was the three tubes you can just make out on the left of the picture emerging from the covering.
The only problem that I had with the old cutter was the state of the tip and elctrode, and not being able to replace.
Your link looks like they might have them, certainly the shroud is right and the electrodes look right, but with no picture of the tip, I will call and get some and hope.
Took me awhile to figure out the two pins on the torch were important!.

I spoke to a very helpful lady on the website you mentioned.
After a long wait, said that she wasn't sure they had any of these items, as they were like getting hens teeth.
I said that as they are on your website, thats why I ordered them from you.
She said she would look personally in the warehouse, in case they have some knocking about, and ring me back.
Needless to say she hasn't.
Must have been trained at the same school as all the other welding firms I have asked for help.
Do I sound disgruntled. Not a bit.
Thanks to you for trying. I may post a link to a video, in case anybody is interested,or maybe I'll just capitulate and help the global economy.
