murex ac dc can it be use on single phase

Hi guys help please I'm looking at this ac dc tig weler http://www.murexwelding.co.uk/manuals/other/Instruction Manuals/Transtig ACDC252-352.pdf be used oh single phase up to about 200amp .tanks

It's a 400v single phase machine. While it might work on 230v single as the input voltage is significantly lower the outputs will also be much lower and they might be insufficient voltage for hf etc to work. Also the current required is huge!

According to the manual it's 2 phase 400-415 volt, note at bottom of page 8

thanks guys ,that what I thought but I was optimistic because some guys runing Miller sunhrowave 300 amps from single phase
