Multitool tinkering

I loved my dewalt multitool so much I upgraded to cordless.
The blades are a pain, cheap ones don't last, expensive ones are better but I cried when I binned a pile the other day.
My late Dad was a cheapskate bodger.
I inherited this trait.
Right! Bored! Under occupied and on a mission.
The metal blades don't last.
My house is full of random nails.

Well slap me with a kipper this works a treat. See little cuts in the bench.


Wood blades? Knackered saw.

Not so good, a bit brutal but promising, I reckon a cheapo saw from b+q with smaller teeth will do the job
.now what idiot chucked out all those knackered blades a few days ago.

For shallow cutting you could weld up a slot that sections of blade could slot into, no welding needed. Good for nails..

I have a cheap Aldi one. As I am avoiding house decorating/diy I am yet to find any use for it.

I've almost destroyed my house with mine.
Skirting boards, stairs, bricks, mortar.
It eats them all

I had to cut a hole in my Range Rover Boot floor to change the in tank pump, it was like a knife through butter cost me one blade but so easy and quick

i tacked a bit of hss blade on to a worn blade years ago cant say it was that successful and haven't bothered since

Somewhere (probably at some Chinese merchant site) I saw a sharpener for the normal blades, I reckon a minute with a skinny disk would get more life out of one.
