Multipurpose portable welder, need help

I'm trying to find a basic engine driven unit (I need tha portability). I was thinking of one of the bigger Lincoln engine welders. but I want ti to be able to work with wirefeed (mig is nice, but not the best for outdoors as i have heard), stick, TIG, and Submerged arc.
i work with plenty of small projects at the moment, but i have a little Chicage electric wirefeed unit (harbor freight tool) and, well, I plan on making a very large machine for industrial art shows, like SRL, which means I need a unit that can make welds that will take a lot of abuse, and could handle the somewhat massive project i am planning.

would probably be stick then as both mig and tig have a gas shroud that can get blown away by the wind unless you have some method of shielding the wind

I sometimes use a lincoln 305 D in work. Works nicely on stick and also attach a LN-25 wire feeder to it and is ok on mig. I haven't tried it on tig though.

These are interesting machines but I bet they are not cheap. Not multi purpose but very portable and you could use flux core outside.

No help with the machine, but SRL, Survival Research Labs? Thats a name i havent heard in a while. Start a thread in the projects section when you start whatever crazy idea it is.
