Multi Angle Magnets

I have a feeling I know the answer to this question .......but, I need a couple of the multi angle magnets for hobby stuff. Should I go cheap and cheerful or spend a few Bob? Thinking maybe the inexpensive ones don’t cut it.
Advice much appreciated.

The Aldi ones have been good and stronger than more expensive ones. The two squares joined by bars have been really useful.

Cheaper the better. Once you release they cause more problems than they solve, you won’t feel so bad every time you see them covered in crap stuck to the side of the welding cart

They do have their uses, though I’m at a loss to think of one

Thanks for that, at the moment I’m using small strong magnets that my daughter uses in her cosplay Star Wars costume making, combined with cut sheet bits. It’s a bit of a faf so looking to get decent shop bought.

The do collect grinding dust etc, But the Aldi ones are very strong.

the trouble is that if the magnets are too strong it messes the arc up. I got mine from lidl, the checkout operator nearly fell off their seat trying to remove them from the conveyor.

I try and keep mine in zip lock bags when grinding near them

also got mine from aldi/lidl good magnets at a good price bought 3 of them 2 angled ones and one rectangle one

there fun getting off of 2mm steel and 5mm is even more fun but at least they hold really well and thats the main thing
