I quite like their tipped tools. I don't think some of their stuff is that bad.

The generic Chinese indexable holders are great, I've posted about it so many times and they far far outweigh any "proper" holders in my collection.

The tips can be a gamble though, some of the Chinese carbide is simply a false economy.

Often see Morse taper drills for £1 at car boots and Jumbles as so few people use them , saw a nice set of long series Morse taper drills yesterday from about 6-20mm sold for £10!
As mentioned look for UK or certain European manufactured ones
But the cheap set should do the job and just buy more spares as you see them
