Print it on sticky back plastic on the reverse paper side , let it dry over night , cut the letters out with a new craft knife scalpel use a proper craft cutting board if you can as you get super clean cuts on them , Tape the sheet down flat in several places to stop it slipping about , keeping as much of the sticky sheet as you can for a better protective masking , Warm the glass then stick the plastic on the glass then either carefully sand blast or acid etch it with extreme care & safety in mind & action.
