Winch boy needs a new brake hose for his 80,s Honda XL, any ideas?
Its Banjos on each end 1.2m long and about 6.5mm od

Goodridge and the likes do the fittings you can put on yourself and the hose by the meter.
They do a classic range if you want to keep the original look or just use the stainless stuff and either cover it in black heatshrink or silt a length of rubber hose and put it over the top

I could give you a hundred links but you will tell me your saving money and use garden hose....look on the bay for a kit with your length and SS braided the braided stuff is pennies these days and comes with the fittings to make up yourself including the olives etc..

Venhill, you can either buy the stuff to make your own or they will make one to your spec. Hel Performance are also good hoses with good service.

Wurth also do kits to build your own lines.

My local bike dealer makes hoses to measure, he used to sell diy hell kits but told me they are now illegal ( in case the screwed on end works loose)
For the money, just buy a ready-made set the length you need.

The swaged ends are a lot cheaper than the reusable ones so it's normally just as cheap to have one made to order as to buy the parts to do it yourself if it's just a one-off

Pirtec.
Take your ols one along and they will reuse the ends and make up a new pipe with new crimps.

yeh for 1 hose it does

About £20-25 per hose usually.

Merlin Motorsport sell the fittings and hose too - it's been a while but they were the cheapest last time I needed an odd brake pipe (imperial one end and metric the other).
