Motor Wiring

I have a new motor for my Mill and unsure which way to wire it. The old one just had two wires in so I am unsure which wire goes where.

Photos below show the wiring on old and new. i assume the A post is the supply in , i.e. the live feed and the neutral goes to the the AZ post depending in direction of rotation desired and the earth goes to the case?

I assume I could put a reversing switch on with this as well?

If only two wires originally----how does it reverse ?

it didnt but u could fit a reversing switch to the new one if the leads in motor were extended out to the switch . easy enough when u know how

The diagram on the new motor says it all, mains in across A & AZ (doesn't matter which way round).

To change direction disconnect the blue wire and connect yellow in its place. Probably easier to move the cap. connection from Z to K
