Took the 350 for an MOT this week which it failed on horn and indicators as neither worked when the lights were on. Checked and cleaned various ground connections, cleaned up the multi-plugs and had a trace through. Found the culprit which was a voltage drop across the ignition switch, which then had a good squirt through with contact cleaner and lots of rotating. Improved things no end, still not perfect, but enough to pass its restest this morning.
Checking back I see that it's covered a colossal 91 kilometres between MOTs. Between the pandemic and work I just haven't been able to get out on it. Makes me wonder if it isn't time to move it on and put the money into one of the others awaiting their turn.
So a good result on the MOT, but a bit pointless unless I get some riding done.
