Moisture filter on blast pot

I have a good filter on my linked compressors and a long run of drained copper pipe before the outlet, with this in mind do I really need another filter on a blast pot??.

I had one on mine and it didn't collect any moisture so I removed it.

If you've already got one it won't do any harm.

If you haven't got one fitted and you get splodges of moisture hitting the workpiece than I'd fit one.

ive got one on both ends of mine and a cooling tank in between.if u have enough capacity i slightly leave the drain off on filter open and u can see the water eject i have no problems with water at the pot after the filter

Trial and error then, just that I have seen a new 20gall. unit for around £100+ delivered, with reg. but no filter. I think I will go for it, as you say if it needs one I'll fit it. Just didn't want to go for the more expensive one with filter if not necessary.
