I've long needed a bench in my shed, but over time I've not done anything about it and filled the shed...
Recently, I was able to retrieve this outdoor table. I think my late mother had it made by a blacksmith to be an outdoor barbecue table of sorts.
The legs are 40 x 40 x ? with 50 x 50 x 10 footpads
The leg braces are 30 x 10 flat bar, as are the edges of the table and centre underside support.
The top is made up of 50 x 5 strips.
It's fairly heavy and the top measures 1300 x 900 and is 800 tall.
I would welcome thoughts on putting a solid steel top on it for working on engines and gearboxes. I'd want to make it removable in case I have to move it in the future as the table/bench can only go through the door on it's side.
