Heres a little toy i've just got.

I'm planning to use an old Suzuki 250cc twin cylinder 2 stroke. Its got a 5 speed box and they make about 40 odd hp so should be pretty quick.

I forgot to take pics before I stripped it down, I've not picked the engine up yet, but started work on the axle etc.

This was a joke, would be nice though.

Yup, i can't imagine it been at all safe, although i'm going to mount the seat and engine as low as possible.

When you turn it autmatically leans in, I'm going to increase the caster to hopefully add to this effec, but i'd imagine you'll have to hang off the sides to take a corner at anything more than walking pace.

I saw online a 2 stroke exhaust chamber calculator, I can't find it now, has anybody got a link to it?

Haha, my mates dad sells them, I reckon he should add a Race-Tech version to the list as an option, this 1 as knackered 1 he took in part X, I know there expensive, but the gearbox etc on it was very well made, suprisingly so.

give it any sort of power and it wont be well made any more, low speed tyres will fall apart but make sure you race it at the local darby and joan club you will find competitors there

Race it? People race these things? I was doing it as a joke, I fully imagine most bits will need modification. I've already seen a few things that would be easy to adjust and i'm sure will improve it.

No, I was hoping to race the old women on there way to collect their pension

I ride a motorbike and I know what insurance and road fund license cost yet you see them on the pavement riding like idiots with no helmet and no regard for others. It's not even legal to push them on the public road without insurance and the Police round here do a good job clearing them up. Build it and enjoy it but do it somewhere private and take it there on a trailer.

Yep - there's a miserable old git I regularly see in Southend - his 'scooter' is quite large and heavy looking. His style is along the lines of "get out of me f'#?"£g way" with nil regard for ordinary pedestrians.

If its anything like my motorbike or 4 cars I pay tax etc on i'll probably never use it! It folds up and will easy fit in the boot of my estate. To be honest i've not really thought about where to use it I think its the building element thats fun, I can't imagine it been much good at anything to be honest.

r u going to put some outrigger wheels on the back like most have so when they do the standing quarter they dont backflip

Its got some on at the moment, but it would only allow for a pityful wheelie. I'm going to raise them up slightly so I can do something a little more impressive. We have cars running at the strips most weekends. I'm hoping they'll let me on with this.
