Now when it comes to phones I am a technophobe / Luddite.
I like to text, talk and occasional what's ap/ internet.
Contracts up very soon and I need some help with phone choice.
Huawei P smart 2019 or ZTE Blade V7?
I am very tight and have a works phone for general use but the Huawei is dual sim so I assume I can carry one phone but have both sims in?
The ZTE can't have a memory card if you have dual sim?
So what should I buy and why?
PC is an Apple but I think the phones are too expensive for me

If you are comparing it to the blade V7 are you looking at an old P Smart - there is a 2019 version and then older versions?

Are you buying the phone yourself or getting it through a contract (i.e. are you open to other suggestions)

Its the new blade v7 against the new P smart 2019, it will be contract, open to suggestions

Personally I would go with the P Smart out of the 2 of those, but it may also be worth looking what Honor devices are also available - they are made by Huawei as a lower cost option, but to be honest for what most people want they perform just as well for less money, at times you can pick up the honor 9 lite for around £100 (which is about 1/2 the price of the P Smart) and I doubt you would ever notice any real difference or if it is cheaper the honor 10 lite and the P Smart are 99% the same phone (The Honor 10 lite has a better camera)

My current phone is a Huawei P20 lite and I love it, It is in the budget end of the market but it does everything I want, you can get brighter screens, more vivid colors, faster processors, but it would all be a total waste for what I use the phone for.

The Honor dual sim phone and I presume the P Smart are both dual standby phones on the dual sim settings, this means that only 1 sim can be making a call or receiving data at a time, but you can put 2 sims in and receive / make calls on either number. With all of the phones the choice would be a second sim card or a micro sd expansion although I believe it is only Three that do the dual sim version of the P Smart in the UK. Also note if you buy a phone under contract it will probably be network locked so your second sim would have to use the same network or you would need to get the phone unlocked.
