MMA to MIG Draper attachment

Hello,
Draper make an attachment for MMA inverter welder to convert it to MIG welder has anyone tried it out, it has been mentioned but not tried from what I can find,

Hi ,,, I bought a MIG spool gun and adapter set to use with my Thermal-Arc GTS130 TIG inverter with 0.6mm steel MIG wire. I was horrified that the MIG tip is permanently live and not switched by the trigger ...only the spool feed and gas valve are operated by the spool gun trigger switch. So...

Really......

when the first cheapo 110v MIG welders came along, they were hot all the time too.
Also didn't even have diodes, just a.c. on the welding wire....
