got my own reader now....no codes but havent observed any live data , need to look into that side of things

if yours doesn't have a maf it should have a map sensor which is manifold absolute pressure, I would be looking for any tiny vacuum pipes and fittings that have perished causing an air leak

its had the new hose as the old one was a bit soft

any pointers for the egr on a 1600 please? quick google suggests its derv only

I'd go for the cat being blocked up and restricting the exhaust.
