mitre saw

Not sure if this is in the right catagory, sorry if it isnt. Im looking at getting a mitre saw, the one ive seen is available in 240v and 110 for the same price. I was just wondering what would be the best one to get.

Hello Richard,

it depends on your use, if for home use then I'd go for 240v unless you already have a transformer, then it's you choice as you have an option. It's just that for site use you probably would be forced to use a 120v machine.

Not really going to be for site use, but i have a transformer as i got that with my angle grinder. I was just wondering if there would be a benefit in the 110 over the 240, or is there not enough in it to make a difference?

Thats great, thanks. Probably best to get the 240 then, ill probably lend it to me dad aswell at som point so that option will be more practical.
