for a bit of mig practice when it turns up, i have the exhaust from the megane sat in the garden.
i want to chop some mitres into it and just make different shaped scrap beofre it goes to the weigh bridge.
my question it, if i wanted to make a heaxagon what is the easiest way to make sure the tube doesnt rotate when i move it over to cut the next mitre? i.e. how do i ensure the top of the tube for the first cut is also the top of the tube for the second cut?
obviosuly if this isnt doen correctly then the last 2 ends wont meet properly
i see a hexagon as a good way of practicing as on shape gives 6 joints and it has to be either re-positioned for the back of the joint of suspended and then i have to move around it etc...
