Does anyone have a mirka ceros, and what are they like compared to an air da sander. I have used electric before and was not impressed and since buying an air da sander only problem is the noise especially as I have the compressor running as well. The ceros seems a more economical way to sand as it's only 400w as apposed to running a 2.2kw compressor. They are a little expensive but feel that I would be happier using one constantly if they are close to an air da to use and considerably quieter.

I've got h 6" CEROS and use it mainly for woodwork. It is fantastic - light, powerful, almost dust free etc. The separate power supply is a bit of a faff so go for the DEROS if you can. I haven't used an air powered equivalent but the cord on the CEROS is extremely flexible so it is a pleasure to use.
