Mini Regulator.. exploded !! please help

Well it didnt 'really' explode.. but I went to unscrew it and the top came off.. it was one of them ping.. and you end up with a load of bits with no idea where they go.. Also I think I'm missing something. What I have is...

the screw value top. Two top hat shaped disc's with a dimple underneth and one top hat thats solid. I also have a rubber solid washer with a red seal on it. I'm I missing a spring or anything !

Typical wanted to take my new aldi welder for a spin !!

You're missing a decent regulator .
Don't bother messing about trying to repair it, it's unlikely it will go back together properly and even if it looks like it has it's unlikely to be reliable.
Is it one that came with the welder? If so then go back to Aldi and try and blag another.

Safer to get a new decent 1 m8,, or you might get to know what a BANG is instead of a ping

Maybe pop down to Halfords and get a SIP one. It will cost a significant fraction of the cost of your Aldi welder but it should be available so it depends on how urgently you want it.

Yes you are missing bits, best idea is to get a new one. Try ebay or m-mart

co2 does go with a bang tried to put a soda syphon bottle on a foundrental paintball gun ptfe and something to depress the nipple lucky to keep my hearing gun blew in two while i was holding it geta new reg not worth the danger
