Hey All, Hope i've posted this in the right place!!
I'm looking at starting a Mini Quad Bike project, similar to this
Once the Quad is built i will then be building a trailer that will not only be used for transporting the Quad but will also attach to the back of the Quad for hauling camping gear/firewood.
As some of you have built off road vehicles before i am in need of your knowledge. I allready have a 110cc 4T engine (currently being re-built), Petrol Tank, Carb from a bike i previously owned.
However i'm not too sure how i should do a few things. Do i go down the route of independant front and rear suspension or independant front and a shared shock for the rear? depending how this is done will also effect how i do the break system. There is a possibility that this bike will be used on some jumps and a garantee that it will be ridden hard through the woods.
The Budget is £1-200 for the Quad. Safety is a priority as i will not be the only rider.
Hope that all makes sense . . .
