I did wonder about sticking the brake on the rear, but the brake would be ineffective then. BUT, I intend to put a smaller wheel on the front.... So what you suggest is logical.
Back brake is more effective than the front on a chop as you are sat on top of the wheel. Front brakes on chops make for amazing front wheel skids without crashing, Lanzecki, try this when nobody is watching.
Tadpoletrikes? To much engineering.
Building freakbikes is about butchery and violence.
You know you need a tallbike.
What do the daughters mates make of this new fangled bike?
What does Mum think of all this nonsense?
Edit, just been and checked the forks. A work of genius! I have cheated and used double crown forks in the past as I could not work how to make proper forks. Marvelous.
stick a rear disk on it and that would clean the lines up a treat, couple that with inner cables for a truly smooth line and do like real chops mount the brake lever on the down stem or like old XJS jags have it hidden under the seat for ubber cool hidden trick bits.
I saw a guy on saturday on a recumbrandt trike or tadpoletrike (never heard it called that!) nearly crashed my Ka as i was looking at it in shear delight!
On another note I went out on one of those cheapy bikes from tesco's the other day ****** me was that insanely hard to pedal and keep rolling!!!!! the cranks were too narrow which was a nightmare to pedal on, sorry to digress
It's stripped ready for painting and the V-brake has migrated to the rear wheel. I'm getting side-tracked with a new project. I'll create a new post about that soon.
