Mini beer kegs

The "brew room" seems like the right place for this...
I've now got 2 of these mini size empty kegs left over from a couple Christmas presents, can you think of a good use for them in the workshop?

Cut the top off, fold a safe edge and fill with micilanious stuff that may be handy one day.

I have a few from Germany that I bought a while back, beer was called Fuschen Alt.

Ive cut open the top, made the edge safe and use one as a plant pot at the office and the other as a mini bin in the workshop.

Also have one from here that ive turned into lamp

the best idea is to bin them, If you don't have a use immediately don't look for one, they will clutter the place up

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who has hung on to them, they look too good to throw away. unfortunately my wife has started making comments about mad old men hording, she's worried that I'll start to keep my poo in bags next!

Ha, last year's Speckled Hen one got put up on top of some shelves near my anvil. I ocassionally take pics/videos of my work in the workshop and framing the keg out so it doesn't look like I'm a alcy is a constant frustration...but I can't bring myself to bin it.

Cut the top out bolt a stick in it with a tuner & string & you have a Canjo! Or a pair of them might make good tom tom drums?

Unless they are limited edition bin or return them.
My local Morrison's did a scheme before Christmas, were when you returned the empty you got a pound or 2 of the next one.

My son got one for his birthday. He didnt drink it fast enough, and the gas pressure dropped. So I cut it open

I wanted to keep it but just couldnt think of what to use it for, so it went in the bin, he was less then happy, though Im not sure if that was cause I drank his cider, or binned it.

Ironically he wanted it for a bin
