Miller have confirmed that they have found cheap fakes of their machines being sold on E Bay and having had several complaints from customers buying new Miller machines, Miller had no sales records for these machines and apparently investigated, they found they were Chinese made fakes and looked like the original machines they claimed to be.
Millers have advised people NOT to buy from these sites; while they have found them on E Bay they accept they will be sold on other general sales sites and in other publications.
Miller have advised the following:
Check the seller is a legitimate Miller dealer or seller.
Check the machines are dispatched from a UK address and obtain that address.
Check the address is actually a dealership and not a storage warehouse.
