I've just bought an old water cooled Miller Dialarc HF 250 ac/dc tig and am going to pick it up next week. The guy knows nothing about it as it came from a plant clearance so between us we still know nothing about it. It was in regular use until march this year so I'm not anticipating too many problems. Anything obvious I need to look out for before I part with my hard-earned? I haven't used a tig for 14 years so other than testing that it strikes an arc and that the water cooler works ok, that's about my limit.

Ones lower are "unknown condition" and usually are missing torch, cables and footpedal. Yours looks like a good deal.
. I honestly think he messed up when he listed it, the description was this; 'Miller Dialarc HF 250 Amp' hmmm, now let me see what's missing..... 'tig', 'ac/dc', 'welder'. I think I know why there was only a few of us who spotted it
Methinks me did well then?
Spelling mistakes are classic examples of potential bargains.
