Will make it down there some day then, Looks like a great show from what I seen of it on the telly with Dibnah
Same up here, lot of little workshops that were in the backstreets are shut down now; anything over 2 mm thickness more difficult to find.
The flatbed pikeys even raided our allotments not long ago, anything steel went, old wheelbarrows, scaffold poles either end of bean rows, wire fencing, wire crop covers, and of course any old tools not worth taking home at night.
I am reduced to chopping up computer cases for thin stuff, the old ones are thickest, some of the newer ones are only about 0.5 mm when the covering is flapped off both sides...
The Chinese manufacturing is slowing down though, and metal prices have started to drop. Only £130 being offered for scrap vehicles now, it was £160 not long ago.
But they'll keep picking stray metal up while there is a market for it.
