Mikita chainsaw CDS 520

Hello all
I have been giving a makita chainsaw the problem i have with it is I do no know if it needs a new break band spring as it does not centre right when it was on it was tight and hard to remove even when the break is off it looks as if it is off centre when the break is off as seen in the photo, if any of the members can help eg know were I can find a break band spring I would be very grateful

Yes the brake band needs replacement - you can see how thin its worn, looks like somone has tried to use it with the brake engaged..

However in the photo it looks like its stuck on.

Assuming you typed the model wrong... DCS520 ?

The brake band is not listed but LSE can usually get everything, worth phoning them up.
