migmate 130/150 Resurrection!!!????

ive an old circa 2001/2 migmate 130/150 that im gonna get running again never did that much with it in the firstplace

but this is where its gonna get interestin its been stuck in the cauld weet garage for the last 8/9 years so will have to see how it goes


thought it might make a fun project for a couple of days espcialy if i can get it to work as a gasless one to boot

i'll whap up a puckle ohh pictures when i get it dug oot and illm keep yahh up to date

right didnt get time yesterday
so went at it the day


its in there some where

ahh its no that bad

right cleaned it ootside and in wasnt as bad as i thought it would be
obviously its a 130 and has sat a fair while, b ut to be honest the wire wasnt as badly rusted as i thought it would be

so i pulled the auld wire oot the torch and ran some maintainance fluid through the steel liner ( which surprised me as i thought it would have had a plastic one)
blew out the liner with the air line
powered up the welder ran through all the power settings and wire speeds to make sure every think worked / adjusted as it should

put on a new reel of fluxcore wire, new shroud and tip and gave it a test run

so i now know it works

down side to do any serious work with it i'll need to get

new Gas Regulator ( rental or disposable Gas)
new liner, swanneck and torch liner

im on holiday all next week as well so should be able to give it a bit more of a test run if i can find some scrap
