Migmate 105 - Transformer and choke required

anyone know were icanget a tranformer and choke its a sip migmate 105amp gas mig sip the only difference from the 105 130 150 is the tranformer and choke and aparently you have to run 150 on a 20a plug were as welders such as clarke you can run 13amp plug im looking for a replacment transformer 11086 & Choke 11088 these are partnumber they have given me but they want £211+ for these two items im not realy an electricail person but iknow it doesent cost that for these item there tring to rip me off iwas wondering if you could help but ineed them so ican rethe standard ones with no fus or problem and they need to work on a 13amp plug

Buy a new welder. SIP will be the only ones selling parts and they are not worth spending that kind of money on.

You'd be better off selling the SIP and buying a new Clarke.

im avenchally going to replace the wire feed and torch as well atranformer comany if igot the spec would beable to supply one ithink ihavent got the cash for a new one as ijust got this a full price iwas under the impreshon that most hobbie mig would be near to the same idont mind having a mutant welder as long as it does what i want witch isent alot as iusally use my arc for car body stuff

If you don't understand electrics then you really shouldn't be messing about trying to build a 'frankenwelder', the parts will cost you more than the machine is worth.
Seriously Dan, do yourself a favour and look for another machine

yeah but its fun people take risks every day its what iwant to do im just ask were i can get parts and if any one knows how to do it bits of this bits of that that what welder are they just copy the next man ido like my sip welder ijust dont blike the size of the tranformer and if iknow idone it iget sum satisfaction knowing idid it only want 45mor amps from the little 105 but im not paying sips price because iknow the a more pocket frendly way of doing it and the all abetter chance of it lasting longer than sips stuff lets face it most hobby migs dont last long but we havent all got £1000 some struggle with £150 and as ive cum to realise icant live for long with out aweld as enjoy restoring my rusty recks and having a fettle around in the shed

Not for bodywork as 60 amps minimum.

Search for Giant welders here, noone really like s them as theya re sold by box movers with no support.

sip said icould bring my 105 up to a 150 with choke and tranformer but ineed a 20amp plug socket and ilive in aflat idont have the cash for an electrision to fit a socket irun mine on 13 amp but it will cost £211 for the 150 up grade so it cheaper than £ 425.13 for the 150amp version to mine and ithe parts go wright in to mine and then it a 150amp anyway but istill havent got the 20amp plug outlet so ill be losing allthe benifits of the upgrade
