Hi, I seem to be having wire feed problems with my machine, its very erratic and today I produced some appalling welds when trying to patch my car.
I have a few questions:
Is the wire feed motor driven off the main transformer as with the SIP/Cosmo welders?
If so would installing a separate power supply to the wire feed improve things?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the machine?
Where can I get a steel liner for the torch?
I'm going to pull it all apart tomorrow, clean the trigger switch and the innards of the contactor (this has improved things in the past) and I might as well do any thing else that needs doing before it goes back together.
A more general question: I am trying to weld car bodywork with this machine using Argoshield and even on the lowest setting (1 Min) it seems a bit fierce, blowing holes even under ideal bench-welding conditions, is this what other users find?
