Calling all jlo powered mighty midget owners, if your machine works well and you have a compression tester, would you be able to give me a cold compression reading?

Mine is dying under load and it isn't the governor, or carb, or blocked exhaust so I'm wondering if the crank seals or rings are shot.

I take it these are ac output?

Has it got fresh fuel and are the carburettor gaskets in good condition?

It doesn't have fresh fuel, I'll try it today with some fresh 2 stroke. Carb is gasket-less, just a fibre washer or two which are all okay. Bing slide carb, simplicity itself.

Good news, unblocked the fuel tap, re-routed the fuel line, put some fresh fuel in it and now it runs a lot better - still too lean though, needs some carb work.
