Migatronic Mig 385

Hi Guys

I have a small problem with one off my migatronic 385.

one of the guys in work some how managed to mash the euro end so i ordered a new euro end with all new brass guides. once i finished joining the gas pipe the brass guide and the 2 12v cables for the torch i powered the machine up and the wire feed started. the mb25 torch wasnt on .
so i thought i had wired the torch cables from the euro end round the wrong way but swap the wires and still the same even when the cables arent join the wire feed keeps going.
I thought it may have been with all the swarf in the machine so i give it a blowing out and same the thing keeps happening?

Any ideas how to solve this one?

Hi greg.
I have come across this problem a couple of times before. The control pcb does not have much in the way of protection on the trigger circuit, so if one of the trigger wires shorts to the welding positive it takes out the PCB. Symptoms vary depending upon which components fail on the pcb but the machine being triggered up all the time with out the torch connected is one. The pcb usually can be repaired though.
