migatronic 180 mono fault

hi all,my migtronic 180 mono has become very noisy its a loud buzz,sounds like a bad electrical connection possibly.it sounds like its coming from a black box screwed to the base on the inside of the machine,it looks like a switch/relay has low amp wires either side of it.the machine still welds ok but i guess it wont continue to for long.can anyon give me any clues on what to test and how.
oppoligies for my poor description but i have no manual and little experience with parts/repairs other than general day to day maintenance.

Might be worth posting some photos showing roughly what it connects to inside the machine. Don't suppose there are any markings on it that might help identification?

Could the machine do with a blow out with an air line inside? Could be bit of metal dust inside causing a short.

Sounds like a contactor. They can get dust inside them and make that type of noise. They can be cleaned, but you would have to strip it.
Don't blow air into it, will make it worse.
If that is the problem they can last for years or weeks, just the noise is very annoying.
If it is a relay just replace it.

the welder was very dusty and i blew the dust off with an airline before it started making the noise,will look into that.thanx
