Mig won't arc

I have a weldmate T150P about 2 years old. Worked beautifully before putting in shed (in box out of dust etc) when I went to use it again I can't get the wire to arc. I have pulled all covers off and checked all wire connections, ground down to new steel (1.5mm) and checked the wire connection in the earth clamp. Wire feed is turned down as low as it can go (still a little too fast though) and the power settings up high.

Anyone have any ideas on what to look for next?

Dont know the machine, but are the switches "push in" type, if so try pushing in and out, if rotary switch turn it a few times back and forth.
Check gun at machine end, copper may have come adrift internal

I am assuming that you have power to run motor, gas etc.

Thanks Jake, have pulled the gun apart and found a small white wire and the large blue copper wire laying free in the gun handle. Unable to identify where they sit and how to secure them back?

Any info you have would be much appreciated.

Anyone have a photo or diagram of the inside of the gun handle?

Does the gun handle have a long spring steel piece that is shaped?
The large blue wire does it have a terminal crimped on the end?

No spring steel and no crimp on the end of the wire. There is a hexagonal shaped crimp on the outside of the main feed tubing but the wire doesn't look like it has been crimped inside it?

I haven't been able to find any photos of the inside of the gun handle for a T150P. Can ayone help?

You should have either one small trigger wire or 2, there should be a large diameter cable connected to the brass block.
If it has 1 wire then it will trigger when it touches the brass block or cable

I am having a similair problem with my lincoln 180c. It is a few months old but i only just recently began using it. It has maybe 1 hour total on it. I was welding the other day just on some 3/16 angle iron for practice and suddenly halfway into a weld, my arc stopped. The fan was still running, the wire was still feeding, and the gas was still flowing. only problem was no arc. What could this be? It wont even arc directly on my ground clamp so i know the ground to the metal is ok.. i'm lost on what else to check.

It may be a simple fix or complicated, if it is new take it in for warranty.
Usually with new welders if they are going to have a problem it will be within the first couple of hours use.
Let us know how you go with warranty repair.
Also you can void your warranty if you play around with it!

I think i've figured it out. My argon tank is empty, but i opened up my valve all the way and was able to get a little more out, and it worked for those 25 seconds or so. So then i decided to switch the polarity as if i was going to weld flux core, and the welder worked just fine. So im assuming there must be some kind of a sensor that doesnt allow you to weld with no gas (saving you from making a poor weld if you're not paying attention) I'm refilling my argon tank tomorrow and hopefully it will work out for me!
