well i`m preparing myself to weld in the rollcage into my track car.. and want to confirm a few things before i commit and start..
the tubing is CDS and according to the companies website i need to use A18 filler wire...
so i popped into the local welding centre and stated the above.. and got a big-ass roll of...

CSA W48: ER49S-6
is this the right stuff?? also noticed instead of the usual copper coloured wire this is silvery in colour??
also.. am i gonna be alright to chop it into foot lengths to use as TIg filler wire also?????
