I have just got a mig but I find the hand unit uncomfey to hold is the any thing else i can get like something with a pen type grip ,if that makes sence..
Such a good idea. The MIG torch shape feels like one of those things that was put together years ago and that nobody has really thought about since. Though it's not so bad really - keeps your hands away from the heat, gets into gaps well, and works fine which is probably why nobody has done anything with it.
The Clarke torch is small which helps. Try using your other hand to guide the swan neck as you weld - that adds a lot of control to torch movement.
