I've had a Sealey Migmate 100 since the mid 90s and it's seen many rusty bangers through the MoT over the years.
It only comes out once or twice a year now, but recently I have noticed the power has dropped right down.
When I first switch on, it welds great with plenty of power, but as it warms up the power drops away as if I have lowered the setting.
Extended welding also results in it cutting out until it cools down.
I realise it's a toy by professional standards but apart from this problem it's a very useful machine to me and produces some perfectly good welds.
What is the likely cause and cure of the problem? - any help much appreciated.
