Ive seen the mig gun torches on the net and as I'm getting blinder as I get older I thought id see what I could knock up as the commercial ones seem very expensive.
The torch was about 3 pounds off ebay. its an aluminium body with 3 leds run of 3 AA batteries so should run for a while. a strip of aluminium and a couple of jubilee clips.
I need to find a couple of 10mm pipe spring clips to replace the jubilee clip on the swan neck.
I couldn't find any in the workshop today.
and bend the Ali strip about till its in the right position.
I put a couple of bends in there so I could fiddle with the height as well.
I think ive got some maglight glass pieces somewhere to protect the lens or I can cut something up from some clear plastic.
But its a lot cheaper than the expensive plastic melty ones.
Don't worry the gun is only resting in the vice while I took the photo.
