I've decided to by a new mig welder in the new year and looking for recommendations. I mainly do car repair work, exhausts, rust repairs that kind of thing, plus some repairs to trailers and machinery. I don't really need big power for thick stuff, I'd rather sacrifice top end power for a lower minimum power.
I'm not really too bothered about whether or not it's synergic or manual adjustment I'd be happy with either.
I have a stick welder and ac/dc tig so I don't need them functions on the mig.
I don't need to be able to run a spool gun or push pull gun for doing ali but if there was something in my budget that gives me that option down the road then it'd be a plus.
My budget is up to £1500. If I can spend less than that it'd be great but I'd rather spend a bit more on something better than try get the cheapest one possible.
