Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some advice regarding protecting my workshop safety vinyl floor while I MIG weld using flux core welding wire.
In the past I have used PVC welding sheets and this has protected the floor a little, although some sparks did get through.
I've been thinking about using blankets but as there are several different types it is a little confusing.
I've been looking at these: https://www.wecs-ltd.co.uk/product-...ssories/welding-accessories-welding-blankets/ and was wondering what would be better, a higher temperature threshold or thicker material blanket?
Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if there is a better material to use I would love other suggestions, i.e. covering the floor with MDF, tiles or rubber mats..?
Cheers,
Stophen.
