MIG College Courses?

Hi everyone, i have recently bought a mig welder and have done a few little projects and welding on my girlfriends car, but would now like to learn formally and hopefully get some qualifications that could possibly help me in my job and improve my skills. I live in Hertfordshire so does anybody have any recommendations of where i could get training and what sorts of courses to look out for etc.

Just joined the forum. I am based in HERTS as well so would be keen to find a course close by... I checked with google and couldnt find anything close. I was tempted to stop by the local garage and offer some cash to teach me for an hour a week or something but you never know if they are any good.

If you find anything local let me know.

hello guys i am no way near you but i did a city & guilds in welding which was very good and the lecturer was brilliant. he let me do all sorts but always depends lol
so is there not a local tech college near you?! if so go in and look around see what the workshop and gear is like

College course in HERTS

Hi fellas, i'm from Herts originally and they did c+g welding courses at Turnford college broxbourne just off the A10, worth giving em a bell, a tutor would put you on the right path when you explain what you're after doing, good luck with it mate
